Just when you thought they couldn’t get any massiver, the genre-bending pop pioneers, six-time GRAMMY® award winners BLACK EYED PEAS now release a surefire hit single (with music video) titled “Hit It” with internet sensations Saweetie & Lele Pons.

And you may remember that the Caracas, (Venezuela) born former Vine celebrity, and now YouTube superstar Lele Pons (pictured below) featured in the “Havana” music video by Camila Cabello.

Lele released her English-language debut, and her first country song with the Jake Owen, in a 2019 duet titled “Señorita” for his album Greetings from… Jake.

Thus, this new track brings together an icy meteoric marvel with the hottest rising star in Latin music for a once-in-a-gen collab with the most famed hip-hop disruptors of Los Angeles.

The track lobs along on a saggy bass line and alacrious beat as Black Eyed Peas broker a cluster of overpacked & utterly impeccable verses that are buttressed by their trade-stamped ingenious ‘n’ loquacious bars.

Lele Pons simmers with a bilingual cameo and the commandment: Thou Shalt Go … one more time. Meanwhile, Saweetie effectively frigerates the 808s with a flurry of flirtatious, flesh-fruit rhymes of her own!

The track stands out as the trio’s first new music since the 2020 smash “Girl Like Me” [with Shakira] that RAW RAMP described as a “Mexicano solicitation with a mixture of passion fruit vocals and paletas style sweet beats with inocente lyrics...”

That gold-certified anthem generated over 340 million streams and 463 million YouTube views on the music video.

Meanwhile, BEP’s comeback album TRANSLATION amassed more than 5 billion listens and views, containing as it does, three #1 hits, including the double platinum record-breaking “RITMO” with J Balvin, gold-selling “MAMACITA” with Ozuna and J. Rey Soul, and “FEEL THE BEAT” with Maluma.
