The Hackney Town, London-based indie-pop vocalist ARLO has been in collaboration with Chicago rapper Mick Jenkins for his new single “Changing” produced by British writer & producer LostBoy [Becky Hill, Gabrielle Aplin etc]

A delectable song-style that really lushes out

Speaking bout the track, ARLO says:

Changing is all about “When You Change But Your Friends Don’t”. I wrote the song with LostBoy. There’s so much attitude and bravado in the record. Having Mick jump on the track is a true blessing he killed his verse and bought a whole new energy to the record.”

We had a listen:

Reflected in a tearful shimmer of lights, the beats emerge on this like wet moths on their final flight of survival. The demijohn sized bass-wobbles give this song structure &  sexy substance. Plus there’s sufficient bass bwomp to get the party moving. Add Mick Jenkins’ intricate ‘n’ brisk rapability and you get a delectable song-style that really lushes out.
