The rising New Jersey R&B/pop artist, songwriter and musician ANT SAUNDERS has delivered a new single titled “Spoiled” via RCA UK. Along with the track is a pulp-fictionesque music video (shared below).

Ant says: “In my first session with (guitarist) Grady, he pulled this really catchy riff out of nowhere before we even knew what we wanted to write about, so he ended up making a beat around that.

When thinking of what to write about, I thought about my relationship and how I think my girlfriend deserves so much, so we were pretty much like ‘let’s make a song about spoiling your girl’. I show a lot of my work in progress to my friends and family, and ‘Spoiled’ was always a favorite...”

Ant’s impressive 2020 collection of songs that included the viral hit, “Yellow Hearts” was created in his bedroom and produced entirely by the singer-songwriter himself. It was released on the day of his high school graduation. Yellow Hearts is now certified platinum in the United States and landed a position in the Billboard Hot 100.

Ant was born in Germany, his parents were stationed in the military, before the family settled in the small town of Woodbury Heights. He cites hip-hop acts such as Frank Ocean, Daniel Caesar, Tyler the Creator, as well as singer-songwriters like Ed Sheeran, John Legend as influences on his output and style.
